Another Skinny Dog release and I slowly start to like the label. This time it's Jackieo, a fine british rock 'n roll band. The dudes define their music to be big-funkin-noise-beats-nusoul-blooze-sex-music and they are right. Many noisy guitar parts and some cool unusual rhythms escort the singer on his way into smoky clubs and pubs. A quick bear and he goes on to a rock 'n roll show. Look, the whole band is there. And the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. And they're having a big party. Cool. Works for me. The only strange thing about this record is that it sometimes sounds like someone stole the hight tunes. But that isn't a real problem.
