Once again fashion neo-wave dance punk? This time from Sweden, and if you can believe the Swedes, this is the next big thing. I have no idea how to speak them out. The cover pictures it like CDOAss, I tend to say CDO Ass. It's funnier, and it makes more sense. The band exists since 2001 and now seems to be the right time for them, with all those bands playing that flamboyant synthie-style kind of punk rock. But CDOASS aren't like all the others. In their music there are lots of the well-known stylistic elements, but I think, it's more thorough in this case. This is only disco, it's only electro, just dance steps, glitter and pose. Guitars? Barely. The keyboards are definitely predominant. But there are guitars, and they are extremely funky. I've got some problems with CDOASS. Yeah, they are cool as shit, but I really miss the rock, the loud guitars. And those over-excited vocals really get on my nerves after a short while.
